1. Introduction

Soldlytics (“we,” “us,” or “the App”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the merchants who use our services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle data when you install and use the Soldlytics app in connection with your Shopify store.

2. Data We Access (Shopify API)

To provide analytics and reporting, Soldlytics accesses data from your Shopify store via the official Shopify API. This includes:

• Store Information: Shop name, email, and currency settings.
• Order and Transaction Data: We process order totals, discounts, and tax information to calculate your profitability.
• Product Data: We access product titles and costs (COGS) to generate margin reports.

3. No Collection of Customer Personal Information

Soldlytics does not store personally identifiable information (PII) of your customers. While we process order data to provide sales insights, we do not store names, phone numbers, physical addresses, or email addresses of your individual customers in our database.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Session Data: We store merchant session data (access tokens) in our secure database to keep the app connected to your store.

Deletion Policy: In accordance with Shopify’s requirements, when you uninstall the app, we receive a “Shop Redact” notification. We automatically delete all associated session data and store-related records from our database within 48 hours.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent merchant or customer data to third parties. Data is used strictly to provide the analytics functionality within your Shopify admin dashboard.

6. Compliance (GDPR/CCPA)

Soldlytics supports Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks:

• Customer Data Requests: Since we do not store customer PII, any request for data will return a “No data stored” confirmation.
• Customer Redaction: We do not store customer records, so no manual action is required to redact customer data from our servers.
• Shop Redaction: Handled automatically via our 48-hour deletion protocol upon app uninstallation.
